• Full Hydraulic control assures smoothness of movement and reliability unequalled by any other system.
• The cage and boom controls are simple, clearly marked and operate in the natural sense.
• Movements can be carried out with precision in all 3 planes – simultaneously if desired. The speed of operation is controlled directly and progressively by the control levers – small movements with exactness, large movements with safely controlled speed.
• It is impossible to exceed safe working limits as automatic safety stops close the control valves at the limits of boom movement – bringing the movement gently to a halt without shock loads to boom or discomfort to occupants.
• Restrictor valves in the boom cylinders control the maximum rate of descent to safe speeds.
• Hydraulic lock valves are integral with main boom cylinders for protection against accidental damage. They give completely “fail-safe” characteristics – even if the hydraulic pipe should be severed, the boom affected will stay safely in position.

• A second set of controls is provided at the turntable – which can override the cage controls in an emergency, but are still subject to the automatic safety stops.
• An interlock prevents operation of the booms or rotation until all four jacks are firmly in position – and the jacks cannot be retracted until the booms are stowed for transit.
CONTROL WITH PRECISION AND SAFETY
Superb cage access at ground level with fold-down front platform for stretcher & wheelchair rescue with room for 5 adults. Rescue only possible with up and over feature.
